Installation

We know that buying the equipment is just part of the process.  For lifts, proper and successful installation is equally important. Collectively, we have installed thousands of lifts over our many years in business.  We like to think we have seen and done it all (but there is always that new surprise!), and we like to share that knowledge and expertise with our customers.  We can share it in a couple of ways - do it our self or help you you find someone to do it for you.

We can do it!

If you are near one of four service locations, life is easy if you want an installation.  We have service locations in:

  • Indianapolis, Indiana (also has a showroom)
  • Louisville, Kentucky (no showroom)
  • Madison, Wisconsin (also has a showroom)
  • St. Louis, Missouri (also has a showroom)

If you are a little farther away, we can still install your lift, but there will be an extended trip charge.  Please call us to get a quote.

Here’s how it works if we do the installation:

  1. We will give a fixed price quote before starting any work. We will ask you some questions about the location, electrical, measurements, and related items, as well as request pictures of your bay and surrounding areas.
  2. We pull the lift from our inventory or order it if we don’t have it in stock. We will hold it at our location until you are ready for it.
  3. We will schedule a time with you for the installation.
  4. We will bring the lift to your location, install it, and haul away the packing materials.
  5. If we are replacing another lift, we can remove it for you (for an additional charge) and dispose of it accordingly. Please call us to get a quote.

If you are capable and confident in installing your lift, that’s great.  We will give you the information and support you need to do it yourself.  If you want to streamline the process, we are here to help you.

You can do it!  (or you can find an installer to do it for you)

What if I am not close to your service locations?

If you are not close to one of our service locations, you still may be close to one of our warehouses, which will give you some additional options in your installation process.

  1. In-store pick up - If you have a truck and trailer, you can pick up the lift, saving you a delivery charge and giving you some control of the delivery schedule.
  2. You find a local installer - If you find a local installer, they can also pick up at the warehouse and probably store it at their location until you are ready for it.
  3. We help you find a local installer - We can try to help you find a local installer. If we do help you find someone, please realize that we are doing this as part of our customer service.  We won’t . . .
    1. Guarantee their work
    2. Be liable for any damages they might do
    3. Deal with them in any way beyond providing them with information
    4. Be responsible in any way beyond our normal product warranty

What if I am not near one of your warehouses or your service locations?

  1. We can still help you find an installer.  Everything still applies from above about our role in the process. We are helpers, not responsible.
  2. You will just have to arrange for the lift to be delivered to the location of your choice - residence, business, freight terminal, or installer.

At the end of the day, we want you to be a satisfied customer who tells your friends and family about us.  We will help you as much as we reasonably can to help you get  your lift safely and successfully installed.
